Stolen Mercedes Benz Sprinter tracked by DIGITPOL and seized by Limburg Police.
The vehicle was tracked using Digitpol's SMVIU platform. An API engine designed to connect with OEM vehicle telematics data, SMVIU supports law enforcement and investigation units in tracking and recovering stolen vehicles. This toolset is in deployment since 2023 and operates daily. The Toolset is utilised by the VBV which acts on behalf of all Dutch insurance companies, the tool is used to track and recover stolen Dutch vehicles. Youtube Explainer VBV-Deployment
