Seizure
The first process is to locate the stolen vehicle and have it seized. This will involve liasion between Police and the relevant NCB's. Once the vehicle is seized, it will be secured, seized and taken to a Police station.
The Legal Challenge
To establish ownership, a lawyer is retained immediately after the seizure, as proof of ownership documents must be presented in court to successfully claim the vehicle and obtain a release order from the court.
Repatriation
After the vehicle is released by the court, Digitpol arranges for its transport from police custody to the port, where it is loaded into a container. This process requires several documents, including customs clearance.
