Space Command Intelligence
Space command investigation and analysis of live and dormant satellites in space, analysis into who owns them and their likely missions. In 2019 its reported that approximately 1,100 active satellites, both government and private are in space with approximately 2,600 that no longer work. Russia launched the first satellite, Sputnik 1, in 1957. The oldest one still in orbit, which is no longer functioning, was launched in 1958.
The analysis of satellites active in Space is not new, with the growing interest, specific with the launch of the United States Space Command (USSPACECOM), Digitpol takes the initiative to develop a world class satellite monitoring platform that will track satellites in space, identify new satellites and map their activity.
